Does Venous Mobile accept my health insurance?

Venous Mobile is an independent and charge a fee-for-services performed. We do not bill your insurance for our services. You will be charged a one time "fee for service" directly for each ordered visit. We accept Credit Card and Debit Card payments currently.

Your insurance information must be included on your physician requisition or hand written for your specified laboratory to process your specimens. Be sure your requisition is properly completed.

Do I need a physician's requisition to schedule my blood draw?

Yes. A fully completed laboratory requisition issued from your physician or physician's office is necessary to schedule a blood draw appointment and for your specimens to be processed by a laboratory.

Why do I need insurance information if I am paying for services?

Venous Mobile is an independent service separate from your specified laboratory. Laboratory processing requires insurance information for billing and will not process results without verified insurance. Venous Mobile is not responsible for any issues involving medical insurance verification. We strongly suggest reviewing and properly filling out all required details on your ordering documents and requisitions before placing your order with Venous Mobile.

Payments for mobile blood draw are collected at time of service or online when you book.

All blood draw details and instructions should be provided by your physician or physician's office personnel and noted on your requisition prior to scheduling your appointment. 

 

How long do I need to fast before having my blood drawn?

​

Fasting for a lab test typically lasts eight hours but can be up to 12 hours. It is  highly recommended to get fasting instructions from your provider we have no authorization to instruct or suggest fasting and or other draw requirements. Contact your physician with any fasting or draw requirement questions prior to scheduling an appointment to avoid any delay in processing.

Is water okay to drink while I am fasting?

Drinking water is highly encouraged for before any blood draw.

Should I continue taking my prescribed medication before my blood draw?

Yes, Unless your physician instructs otherwise, contact your provider for instructions about medications we have no authorization to instruct or suggest otherwise.

How long does the collection process take?

 A typical blood draw procedure can take no more than 10-15 minutes. However, there are many factors that can slow down  blood draw.

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, and payment information. Your information is not shared or stored, your lab slip and insurance information will be dropped off to your lab, there are no copies made by Venous Mobile.

We collect data necessary to process your payment, your card information and the security code associated with your payment is not stored.
